Effective coordination and transparent management form the backbone of DebateCiti. The Hubruzzo Foundation oversees these critical aspects to ensure smooth implementation and impactful results.
Activities include:
General Coordination: Managing administrative and financial aspects, ensuring transparency and compliance with Erasmus+ guidelines.
Partner Meetings: Regular virtual meetings and dedicated in-person sessions for planning, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Monitoring and Reporting: Quarterly focus groups, evaluations, interim and final reports to measure project effectiveness.
Dissemination & Visibility: Continuous engagement through the website, newsletters, social media channels, local workshops, and events.
Four intensive training meetings hosted in partner countries will enrich the teaching methodologies and practical skills of participating educators and students:

Topic: How to Research Information Online
Focus: Fact-checking, fake news detection, and digital citizenship.
🇸🇮 Slovenia (February 2026):
Topic: How to Argue
Focus: Structure of arguments, public speaking practice, argumentative reasoning.
🇱🇹 Lithuania (May 2026):
Topic: How to Listen and Rebut
Focus: Active listening, non-hostile communication, effective rebuttal skills.
🇮🇹 Italy (October 2026):
Topic: How to Debate
Focus: Organizing debate clubs, managing debate competitions, and final international debate tournament with stakeholders.

At the core of our project is the creation of an Ebook Toolkit, designed as a practical, multilingual manual for educators and students. Its purpose is to seamlessly integrate fact-checking, critical thinking, and debate techniques into school curricula across Europe.
The toolkit includes five distinct modules:
Introduction to Debate
Basics of debating and media literacy foundations.
Online Research & Fact-Checking
Techniques for verifying information, detecting misinformation and deepfakes.
Critical Analysis of Arguments
Methods for constructing, analyzing, and evaluating persuasive arguments.
Active Listening and Rebuttal
Practical approaches to active listening, refutation strategies, and constructive dialogue.
Managing Debate Clubs & Competitions
Guidelines for successfully running debate activities within and outside the classroom.

Multilingual editions available in English, Italian, Lithuanian, and Slovenian
Practical lesson plans, ready-to-use classroom exercises
Embedded podcasts, videos, and interactive materials
User-friendly PDF and audio formats
Each partner school will establish a student Debate Club, creating dynamic environments for practical application of debate skills.

Participants: 32 students and 8 teacher-coaches total (8 students, 2 teachers per school)
Activities:
Curricular integration of media literacy and debate techniques
Extracurricular events, including debate tournaments and thematic workshops
Development Goals:
Enhance students’ critical thinking, argumentation, and media literacy skills by 30%
Double student club membership within one year
Regular evaluation, mentoring, and support from local stakeholders ensure ongoing growth and sustainability.
